thank you

Today and everyday I am thankful for so much. Here is my short list..

I am thankful for my sweet husband.
He is my best friend, my laughing buddy, my pun maker, my adventure partner, my everything.
(and the artist of the turkey in the picture above)

I am thankful for our cat, Leeloo.
She is the only cat I've ever known to enjoy being spooned.

I am thankful for my family.
Both the one I was born into, as well as the one I married into. Big hearts and selfless beings.

I am thankful for my Mama.
She loves me unconditionally, has always been supportive, and bakes a mean pineapple upside-down cake.

I am thankful for my friends.
Old and new, you guys are the best and I love you so!

I am thankful for the city of San Francisco.
Being from Austin there really aren't too many cities that can compare, but SF puts up a good fight.

I am thankful for my job.
It's only 1.5 miles from our apartment, allows me to be creative, and sleep in till 9:00am.

I am thankful for our Troops.
Especially my Brother-in-law, who is currently deployed.  Happy to know that he is scheduled to be home with my sister and my nieces and nephew in the next few weeks!

I am thankful for the turkey we're going to eat today.
Whole Foods sort of forgot about our order, so we ended up with a turkey twice as big as the one we originally ordered.
Hello leftovers! (we'll be giving away a lot of it too)

I am thankful for the brand new computer I'm writing this entry on.
My old one broke last month, and Christmas came early this year! :)
