Of course I always look forward to seeing our family and friends when we return, that's just a straight up given! But there's lots of other things that I look forward to going back home for and I've compiled a little list of some those things here:

It's melted cheese, with spicy goodness. It's not that hard California! Get with the PROGRAM!
--- The Alamo Drafthouse ---
Apparently there's a plan in the making for one here in San Francisco, but until then, I'll get my fix down in the city where it all started.
--- $1 Lone Star Beer ---
PBR is the go to for a cheap cold one here (yuck!) And when I see Lone Star for $5, I just laugh. I'll wait to order one in Austin, where the bartenders know to hand you the cap with your beer.
Who doesn't love a good puzzle with their beer??
--- Haircuts ---
I've tried, tried, and then tried some more to find a hair stylist I like here in San Francisco. But no one compares to my Michelle. The girl just knows what she's doing. See you soon Michelle!

Yum Green Bean Salad. Need I say more?
--- Barton Springs Pool ---
One jump into that pool and I aways feel like a brand new lady. Of course I won't be doing that this time of year, unless Austin is having one of those crazy hot winters, then maybe.
Can't wait to see some familiar friendly faces, be with our loved ones, and spend some time in the city that's really home to us.
