Well folks, it's official! Looks like we'll be staying out here on the West Coast for a bit longer.
At the end of this month, Ernie will be leaving Apple after two years of lots of hard work and a lot of international travel. He's now signed on with a new startup company here in the city, only a mile from our apartment, and 5 blocks from the studio I work at! This is a huge and welcomed change, because even when Ernie wasn't traveling abroad for work, he still had an hour commute on the shuttle down to Cupertino to look forward to, which as you can imagine, got old REALLY fast!
We're excited to experience San Francisco in a new and different way to us. One where we can host more gatherings together in this apartment we've come to love so much, and have time for meeting more friends. One where we can plan things out with more accuracy, such as having friends and family visit from out of town without any last minute business trips getting in the way (hallelujah!!). And of course my personal favorite, one where we'll have more time with each other.
Here's to the next chapter in our life, with open arms!
